The Raiders continued their sixth round by selecting running back Latavius Murray out of Central Florida University.

Without knowing much about Murray, it appears he protects the ball well after apparently going 407 carries without dropping the ball on the ground.

When watching film of him, he appears to be rather similar to current Raiders fullback Marcel Reece, in the sense that he can be lined up at a variety of positions. He's a bruising back at 6-foot-2, 223 pounds but still holds amazing speed (4.3-4.4 40 range) with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

Murray rushed for 1,106 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2012, all while adding 27 catches for 231 yards and four touchdown receptions.

It will be interesting to see how Murray is used, but at the moment, it appears he would be a viable option as the goal-line back, something the Raiders lacked greatly last season.
